Against The Odds is a documentary following Coach Terrell Coburn for the next 3-5 years as he rebuilds a collegiate women's basketball team and moves up the NCAA conference ranks.

After trials and tribulations, Coach Coburn shares his story as the only Black male coach in the North East Conference. In this day and age as conversations about race in sport continue, Coach C shares the importance of Black coaches in women's basketball.

During the 2023-24 season, we follow Coach Coburn preparing for the season and are introduced to the coaches, players, and the Staten Island community that make up the team and culture. We follow Coach Coburn's journey as he rebuilds this Wagner team in hopes to bring the Seahawks their first NEC championship.
